Back to My Roots: This post is aimed primarily at my friends and business contacts in Delaware and southern Chester County. I have been named interim senior editor for Delaware Live and its affiliated publications, Town Square Delaware, Milford Live, and Chadds Ford Live. I'm excited because it's time to break a few eggs in our coverage of Delaware. If you have story ideas, please email them to editor@delawarelive.com or DM me here. Christopher L. Kenny, Esq.

On the West Wing, President Jed Bartlet often asked this question. I'm going to answer it for myself on Monday. Very excited. Stay tuned, and feel free to guess What's Next? in the comments. Wrong answers are welcome.

In the immortal words of Blondie (if you'd like to leverage my 40+ years of experience of ideation and execution), Call Me. Or if you prefer Carly Rae Jepsen, Call Me Maybe.

This is perfect timing for a webinar I'm delivering tomorrow on creating better prompts. One person said she was frustrated by AI Detectors. I'm sick of all the posts I see from people claiming they can see AI Comments on this platform from a mile away. The key is to actually "chat" with your LLM of choice (mine are Claude and Perplexity), provide them with context, and even provide examples of your best writing. As I just wrote in the notes for my deck, some tasks don’t need the full force of your creative mind... and some tasks where you don't have to labor alone in the dark. Let the LLM be a partner where it makes sense. Christopher Penn Ashley Dennison

Looking for advice. So you get a new client, they pay a 50% advance, you do a big chunk of the work, and then they go quiet. You've budgeted for the total amount and are reluctant to fill their spot on your calendar because you don't want to overextend yourself if they suddenly decide to move forward. What do you do? I'm really proud to support a company that balances a meaningful mission with the ability to provide contact center executives with a path to higher-quality interactions with their patients and customers.

Wow! It's Launch Day for CommsConsultants.comI'm excited to be included in this terrific new tool for people seeking an expert communications partner. Ashley Dennison has done a tremendous job creating this platform.Whether you have an interim need, a fractional opportunity, a complex project, or you’re simply desperate for some extra arms and legs, you'll breathe easier if you take a look. This got my attention because I've been in a position where I needed the support of a seasoned communications pro when I was either understaffed or needed specific skills. It also appealed to me because it's a great way to raise my visibility in a way freelance platforms like Upwork don't bring.I'm proud to be a part of this highly curated and exclusive directory of experts in 25+ specialties (public affairs, influencer relations, employer branding, internal communications, media training, executive visibility, speaking & award positioning, DEIB communications, and so much more). Of course, I hope you consider me in these situations. I know I'll be looking to this group if I need a partner with specific skills for a larger project. There’s no middleman to work through, no waiting, and no worry about whether these consultants will deliver. Oh, and the cost is a fraction of what recruiters typically charge. Let me know if you have questions or want me to connect you with Ashley to learn more.
