The Quick Add feature is Snapchat’s way of suggesting users to people with similar interests or contacts. Its algorithm is a bit unclear, which is why not all the suggestions are worth taking into account. Turn off Quick Add

For example, if you have someone’s phone number in your contact list but haven’t added them yet to your Snapchat friends list, that person might end up as a Quick Add suggestion.

Friends of your friends may also end up on this list, and so might the people that you spend time with in various groups.
